St. Paul Park, MN — Horizon Science Academy has announced the opening of Horizon Science Academy St. Paul, a new tuition-free public charter school serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, set to open in August 2026.
The school will be located at 920 Holley Ave in St. Paul Park, creating a new opportunity for families in the community to access a high-quality public education designed to support both academic growth and student development.
At its core, Horizon Science Academy St. Paul is focused on helping students build a strong foundation for the future. Through a student-centered approach and a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), students will be encouraged to think critically, explore their curiosity, and grow with confidence in and beyond the classroom.
While new to the St. Paul Park community, Horizon Science Academy is part of a broader network of tuition-free public charter schools committed to delivering innovative, STEM-focused education. The model is built around preparing students not just for the next grade level, but for long-term success as learners, problem solvers, and future leaders.
The addition of Horizon Science Academy St. Paul represents more than a new school, it reflects a continued effort to expand access to high-quality education and provide families with a meaningful choice in their child’s learning experience.
As the school prepares to welcome its first class of students, families will have opportunities to learn more, connect with the school, and begin the enrollment process in the coming months.
