Concept Schools Recognizes Global Heroes Program Winners for Second Quarter

Across Concept Schools, students continue to expand their skills beyond the classroom through language learning to build confidence, communication, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Each quarter, the Global Heroes Program recognizes students who demonstrate dedication and growth in their language studies. These students go beyond daily assignments, showing consistency, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to becoming multilingual learners.

This quarter, students across multiple campuses were recognized for their work in Arabic, Spanish, and Turkish, representing a wide range of grade levels and learning experiences.

Elementary Level

  • Ilhan Mohaned – Arabic learner, HSA Columbus Middle
  • Bryan Kendrick – Spanish learner, IMSA North
  • Tanaesha Husbands – Spanish learner, HSA Southwest Chicago

 

Intermediate Level

  • Aryanise Garcia – Spanish learner, HSA Southwest Chicago
  • Fatma Mohamed – Spanish learner, HSA Columbus High
  • Anis Hasan – Turkish learner, Chicago Math and Science Academy
  • Musab Farah – Turkish learner, Chicago Math and Science Academy
  • Anjalee Ramirez – Turkish learner, HSA McKinley Park
  • Rodolpho Sarmiento – Turkish learner, HSA Southwest Chicago

 

Advanced Level

  • Angel Muñoz Montoya – Spanish learner, IMSA North
  • Leiza Estrada Salgado – Spanish learner, HSA Southwest Chicago

Through their efforts, these students are strengthening their academic skills and developing the ability to connect across cultures and communities. Programs like Global Heroes highlight the importance of language learning in preparing students for a more connected and global future.
