U.S. News & World Report Tabs Concept’s K-8 Charter Schools Best in Midwest

Concept Schools is proud to celebrate another remarkable achievement across our network. Earlier today, U.S. News & World Report released its annual rankings of the top charter elementary and middle schools in the country and, once again, Concept's network was well-represented at the top of the list in each state.

At the elementary level, Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park earned the distinction of being named the No. 1 charter elementary school in Illinois. These recognitions underscore the strength of Concept’s model in creating supportive, high-achieving environments that prepare students for success from their earliest years.

Our middle schools also made an impressive showing. Gateway Science Academy Middle claimed the No. 3 spot in Missouri, and Chicago Math and Science Academy led Illinois schools at No. 4 followed closely by Horizon Science Academy Belmont (No. 6) and Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park (No. 7). Each continues to demonstrate the powerful outcomes that come from a focus on STEM education, character development, and personalized learning.
