John Aytekin
John Aytekin has been serving Concept Schools as a teacher, principal, Superintendent and Director of Accountability since 2002. John was instrumental in establishing Indiana Math and Science Academies as a founding principal and superintendent. Throughout his services to Concept at various positions, his indelible footprints are everywhere, and with his servant leadership mindset, John is committed to providing excellent service to all students, parents, and staff throughout the network.
John has been working with the senior management of Concept Schools for more than fourteen years and has been one of the key players at the outstanding success of the network. His experience, expertise, knowledge, endless passion emboldened with students-first mentality provides an invaluable resource to the leadership structure of Concept Schools. As Chief Accountability and Human Resources Officer, John is responsible for the oversight of both the Accountability and Human Resource Departments.
John earned a BS degree in Biology/Science teaching from Marmara University and holds MS degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, and Ed.S. degree in Educational Administration with Superintendent Endorsement from Northern Illinois University. He received his Certification in Education Administration and Supervision – Principal and Superintendent K-12.
