ROBOCON aims to increase public awareness in STEM- every student has the potential to shine in science, technology, math, and engineering.

We encourage students to share their experiences, talents, and abilities with others through this unique platform. ROBOCON is a robotics competition where teams design, build and program LEGO-based robots compete in a variety of challenges. Teams that compete at ROBOCON design, build and program LEGO-based robots compete in a variety of challenges.

What is RoboCON?

ROBOCON is a robotics competition where teams design, build and program robots to compete in various challenges. The competition consists of three challenges:  Sumobots, Line Follow and Mass Hauling. There will be two divisions based on grade levels: Junior Division grades 4-8 and Senior Division grades 9-12.

ROBOCON includes these challenges:
SUMOBOT LINE-FOLLOWING Stacking Cubes
A robotic sumo contest, where two autonomous robots attempt to push each other out of a circular arena using mechanisms. Robots complete a course in the least amount of time while accurately tracking the course line from start to finish. Robots stack as many cubes as possible in 45 seconds.

RoboCON aims to provide a unique experience for students to discover their passion for science, technology, math, and engineering (STEM). When creating, connecting, and collaborating with peers, every student has the potential to shine in STEM. Therefore, we encourage students in teams of 2 - 6 students to share their experiences, talents, and abilities with others through this fun and challenging competition.
