Gateway Science Academy St. Louis High Schools congratulated 11th-grade student Anna Heiple for achieving the highest possible ACT composition score of 36. On average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. Anna is also a part of our MathCON math competition that happens every year.
This achievement that Anna worked hard for on the ACT is significant and rare.
The ACT consists of tests in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, each scored on a scale of 1-26. A student's composite score is the average of all four test scores combined. Although the scores are just one of the many criteria for most colleges to consider when accepting a student, Anna's ACT composite score will help her pursue her career and educational goals.
