Scientists have made a lot of progress in suspending small objects in mid-air. Turns out a new breakthrough could help scientists discover how to levitate larger objects, including humans. Researchers from the University of Bristol are developing tractor beam technology (yes, like Star Trek), and are hopeful that we could be floating on air before we know it.
