Concept Young Scholars Program
The Concept Young Scholars Program (CYSP) inspires students to grow, lead, and explore beyond the classroom, unlocking their full potential through mentorship, hands-on experiences, and goal-driven learning.

A Comprehensive Program for Student Growth and Leadership
The Concept Young Scholars Program (CYSP) is an academic and personal development initiative that supports students through a structured journey toward academic success, strong character, and college readiness. The program emphasizes personal growth, community service, physical fitness, and educational experiences. CYSP seeks to develop self-motivated learners who take ownership of their education, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Goal-Setting, Advising, and Meaningful Student Experiences
Participation in CYSP follows a structured process in which students register, choose advisors, and set goals while tracking progress across growth areas. Advisors support planning, monitor achievements, and help students reflect on experiences that build character, resilience, and leadership. The program promotes engagement through activities like academic competitions, college visits, and structured development sessions that encourage academic and social growth.

CYSP Plus: Strengthening Success Through Family Engagement
Beyond its core requirements, CYSP offers optional components such as CYSP Plus, which encourages parent and guardian involvement in students’ education. Families who participate with their scholars can earn added recognition and prizes, reinforcing collaborative support for achievement. Research shows that family involvement improves literacy, work habits, social skills, and long-term academic outcomes, particularly for diverse learners.
Exploring the World: CYSP International Trips
CYSP international trips are educational travel experiences that broaden students’ cultural understanding and global awareness by exposing them to places and traditions beyond their communities. Students engage with different cultures, languages, and worldviews, building appreciation for diversity and skills needed to be global citizens. These trips often foster confidence, friendships, language growth, and curiosity, supporting personal and academic development. Organized by the Concept Schools CYSP Department, the trips are offered to students, parents, and teachers and have included destinations such as Spain, Brazil, and Peru.
